La Pietra (The Stone) is an old two-floors building. On the ground floor there's a spacious square room with large windows. A stone pillar in the middle of the room divides the sitting-room from the dining-room. An old piano and valuable paintings enrich the esthetical aspect of the room. Two glass doors lead to a terrace on one side and to a garden on the other. A door divides the sitting-room from the elegant and modern kitchen, characterised by a red marble shelf.

Through the windows you enjoy a dreamy view overlooking the sea and the eyes sweep the horizon.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms.
The first one is a very spacious double room. Its bathroom has modern furniture, a wood and marble floor and a wooden-beam and mezzane ceiling, which are terracotta bricks, typical of the Tuscan country architecture.

The second one has two single beds and presents some similar characteristics to the double room. Through the passage you reach another modern furnished bathroom with whirlpool bath.
Both bedrooms have air-conditioning unit. The outer walls were built with stones of the 16th century as the typical Tuscan style. The house was recently restored.

All around the house are several terraced gardens and a private terrace where you can take meals. From here you enjoy a panoramic view overlooking the woods below, the olive-groves and the city of Pisa.
A little additional bed is available for a fifth person (only on previous request).
The owners speak 5 languages (English, French, Italian, Dutsch, Spanish).

Swimming-pool:
The swimming-pool is available for both houses guests use (6 people for La Torre and 4 people for La Pietra). Each house has its own area, separate from the other one, with beach-umbrellas and deck-chairs.
The owners’ house is located near the swimming-pool; the staff is always disposed to help you for any eventuality. All around there are olive-groves and vineyards.

ANIMALI:
Three donkeys and one horse live in the property. There is also one friendly and inoffensive dog: during the day he is free in the open, during the night he stay indoors. Some cats live free in the property.
